BST 2023 / Larkin Poe

The very talented American Lovell sisters came out to an overcast London afternoon, but they definitely brought a touch of warmth with a rocky brand of pure unadulterated blues from the 21st century.  With a solid rhythm section and crystal clear sound, the Stratocaster riffs accompanied by the slide guitar solos, saw them roar to the sky. Excellent songs, very well crafted leave you with a sense of class and taste. Tunes like Strike Gold, Preaching’ Blues and Wanted Woman are well received by the audience. A little too short of a set but If you like modern rock blues this is the band to check out, do it now.
