Anvil to pound the UK with a March 2020 Tour
Canadian heavy metal pounders Anvil will return to the UK for a seventeen date tour in March 2020 that will see them perform throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
Anvil has just put the finishing touches to their 18th studio album. It was recorded at Soundlodge studios in Germany where they recorded their previous album the acclaimed 'Pounding The Pavement'. The as-yet-untitled album was once again produced by Jörg Uken.
The full-length UK tour kicks off at Edinburgh Bannerman's on March 4th and climaxes at the O2 Islington Academy, London, on March 21st.
This is followed by an intimate show on March 22nd as they return to the Y Llew Coch, Machynlleth, Wales, where the band played an unforgettable show on their previous tour in 2018 even waking up the neighbours with an almighty racket in the pub's back garden. Tickets are available directly from the pub.
The band celebrated their 40th anniversary last year and includes founder members Steve 'Lips' Kudlow on vocals/guitar, drummer Robb Reiner and bassist Chris Robertson who joined in 2014.
Tickets go on sale 24th September and will be available from the venues and various ticket outlets as listed on the band’s website.
Special guests are yet to be announced
