Timid atmospherics permeate this curious collection of twilight tunes from these dark swiss experimentalists. And similar to a scandi-noir soundtrack, the gothic influences drift throughout this ninth release like fine flakes of icy soft sound especially on their cover of The Sisters Of Mercy Nine While Nine.

Not unlike an audio version of Sam Taylor Wood’s, and others, subjects captured in mid-fall, there’s a stillness to these compositions that errs on the side of gloom; as though waiting for an impending disaster to arrive.

An alluring aura of subdued lockdown blues slowly ripples along on this spectral record, as these fourteen tracks mumble themselves into the prevailing psyche of current life in slow-motion.

Singer Michael Sele's peculiar delivery on the dreamlike songs A Night Like This, the stripped back Naked, and Friends Of Mine demand close listening. As does the whole album.
