Probably the finest Scottish export since Johnnie Walker Whisky and harder than the combined toughness of Graeme Souness and Joe Jordan in their pomp, with Dan McCafferty on vocals Nazareth were equipped with enough deep-fried wild rock-power to smash down the Walls of Jericho in their prime.

With the entire McCafferty era oeuvre being re-released in seductive collectable colour vinyl throughout 2019, this third set of six albums takes this project of releases right up to McCafferty’s final Nazareth studio album.

Formed in 1968, this gritty band emerged from the pubs and clubs of their native Scotland to become one of the most successful rock bands in the world. Highly influencing many bands along the way. Just like an unconquerable solid mass of rock standing sentinel as time busied itself all round, Nazareth never were swayed or distracted by passing trends or musical fashions, they stood by their guns and fired out a heavy barrage of releases which rocked hard whilst they never rolled over.

Listening back to 2XS, Sound Elixir, Cinema, No Jive, Move Me and the unsurpassable cocksure swagger of double live album Snaz is to be held firmly in the grip of stronger stuff!
