In essence a one-man-band. In reality, Scottish songwriter Jamie Telford has enough pull, having played with The Jam and entered the experimental electronic arena plus scoring Theatre music for Hamlet, to bring in specialist musicians to interpret his musical visions.

His de-facto partnership with engineer/musician Sean Reed, himself no slouch with top-line collaborations to his name including Dexy's Midnight Runners, has seen Telford’s musical visions take flight and soundly drop on this charismatic genre-hopping release. If country-tinged, jazz hued, soulful passages reflected through an edgy prism of tuneful colours is your thing then it’s worth arming yourself with this mostly astute album.
