Paragons of the New Age musical movement, Clannad evolved from their traditional Irish folk origins into harbingers for a cultural renaissance of old and the progression of new music from the Emerald Isle.

Coming to the attention outside of Eire with soundtracks for TV programmes Robin Of Sherwood and Harry’s Game, firmly established this group on their singular path to worldwide chart success.

Milestone albums continued to build upon the ebb and flow of their groundbreaking ethereal sound, some with family member Enya, as enigmatic singer Moya delivered a pervasive wave of haunting Gaelic vocals over swooping misty sonics.

This collection of Clannad’s most recognisable songs includes two new tunes, produced by Trevor Horn, that captures their cultural roots with eddies of otherworldly sounds especially on A Celtic Dream which preserves their legend.
