WDGO Music to release vinyl single of Mick Ronson's Play Don't Worry/Angel No.9

WDGO Music an independent label formed in 2020.

Based between Nashville, London & New York, and part of the NYC based Rock n Roll company Wendigo Productions.

Wendigo has been active in the rock n roll scenes worldwide, sponsoring events such as the Strummerville Foundation Concert in London, September 2018, as well as many Artists Transatlantic touring, recording and PR efforts. Now with a new international team of music industry professionals, the company has launched its own label with the goal of shining a light on both past and present artists alike.

WDGO Music is here to fulfil a burning desire to create cool content, by bringing a tasteful twist to re-release or previously unreleased findings. The company’s first adventure finds them “on Mars” with a previously unreleased 1974 BBC Old Grey Whistle Test Double A-Side Vinyl of Mick Ronson - Play Don’t Worry/Animal No.9 on Record Store Day. The Vinyl is pressed to the highest standards and limited to only 1000 copies worldwide. Mick Ronson is also very known for being the right hand man to David Bowie and co-conspirator of many of this earlier hits, not to mention his iconic guitar playing for many other musical legends.

From here, the label is expanding into some other classic performances on vinyl alongside some fresh signings from Nashville and London, whilst also creating timeless merchandise to a higher standard than the average, emblazoned with iconic artists and art. WDGO Music is very much a ‘Watch this Space’ force for 2021.

With an International team growing and building within this new venture with a mission in great quality and memorable rock n roll paraphernalia, we are all excited to bring our ideas to the world of business that is called Music. We are excited to develop and help new acts not just put out great music, but also to help them nurture their art form and give them a platform to grow as writers and recording artists.

WDGO will also be bringing out brand new merch which will licence old school band t-shirts and will include a collection of apparel.
