UK Ska Punk band Spunge releases their new single ‘No One Said It Was Easy’.
The track is a tale of choosing to do what you love rather than what is the status quo and in the bands own words: “is about the fact that the route that makes you happiest, in the long run, isn't always the easiest, but ultimately, when you look back it's better to have done the things you believed in, no matter how tough that may be at the time”
Recorded and produced at RB Studios in Birmingham by Elliot Vaughan who’s previous recording credits include The Wandering Hearts, Frank Turner and The Wildhearts
The video accompanying the single is a story about one man not settling for the mundane and choosing to go his own way. The song can be interpreted in many ways but the 9 to 5 hell is a common concept so the video follows the journey that the main character takes to make life his own, filmed and produced by Elliot Withers from Lion Island Media.
Having established themselves in that time as an integral part of the UK punk scene the band have earned themselves a UK Top 40 Single, billing on shows with Green Day and Dropkick Murphy's, playing festivals including Download, Reading/Leeds and Slam Dunk, multiple headline tours in the UK, Europe and beyond, and about to start a tour supporting Reel Big Fish throughout the UK.
