The Ballad of Jethro Tull, the acclaimed - Ian Anderson authorised - illustrated book, is to be published in paperback.

Publisher Rocket 88 Books is taking orders now for the 216-page history of one of rock music’s most iconic bands, which was first published in hardback form in November 2019. Priced at £30 (temporarily discounted from £35), the paperback can be ordered from https://jethrotullbook.com/.

Ian Anderson posted this video to announce the news: 

“I’ve got a copy and it’s great,” he said.

The hardback edition sold out within a matter of weeks of going on pre-order, but a new print-run means that the £45 ‘Classic’ Edition hardback is still available. The limited ‘Signature Edition’ (£300, signed and numbered by Ian Anderson himself) were sold out last year on pre-order.

Meanwhile, a new German-language edition has just been announced. ‘Die Ballade von Jethro Tull’ is available via German publisher Hannibal, priced 40 Euros.
