Steve Howe is a British guitarist best known for his work with Yes, Asia, GTR and ABWH. He was inducted into the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 and remains for many one of the greatest guitarists of his generation.

In All My Yesterdays - published on April 16th on Omnibus Press – Steve tells his story in his own words for the first time with unflinching honesty and humour. He reflects on times of triumph and torment while a member of some of the very biggest UK prog rock bands, and tells anecdotes from his five decade long career that include jamming with Jimi Hendrix, sharing Abbey Road studios with The Beatles, and encounters with other internationally celebrated musicians. Steeped in first person rock’n’roll history, All My Yesterdays contains unseen photographs and a full discography, and is the first autobiography to be published by any of the classic Yes line up.

Born in north London in 1947 Steve was given his first guitar at the age of 12 and quickly devoted himself to mastering its intricacies. After spells in psychedelic bands of the late sixties he was invited to join Yes in 1970 and – with success as a solo artist along the way – he remains a full time band member to the present day.

A workaholic, Steve’s musical voyage was a roller coaster ride of constant touring, international travel and intense recording sessions. Realising early on that the destructive temptations of a rock’n’roll lifestyle weren’t for him, Steve instead dedicated his life to excellence in musicianship. A committed vegetarian since 1972, Steve talks of how Transcendental Meditation and the avoidance of pharmaceutical drugs changed – and continue to change - his life.  He is an avid collector of guitars and has amassed a priceless collection.

Alongside a new solo album ‘Love Is’ due for release on BMG later this year, Steve and Yes will play a full UK and European tour – dates to be announced.
