It has to start somewhere, It has to start sometime, What better place than here, What better time than now...
Rock en Seine have announced Rage Against the Machine as the first headliners for 2020, returning to the festival for the first time in 12 years.

Joining Rage Against the Machine on the line-up will be El-P and Killer Mike collaboration Run The Jewels, with other artists to be announced soon.

Last November RATM announced they were reforming and playing dates in the USA. The group made the announcement by publishing a photo of last October’s demonstrations in Chile, proving their political commitment is as strong as ever. Values that are shared by the spirit of Rock en Seine, a festival that has its foundations in liberty and civic responsibility.

From the very start, the festival has shown its independence through its artistic programming choices, line ups that stand out from the crowd and an innovative artistic range.

Rock en Seine have always worked hard to preserve and protect its location. Every year, even more environmental measures are put in place, from preserving the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud, limiting greenhouse gas emissions, managing energy consumption, reducing waste and regulating recycling.
The festival welcomes non-profit organisations who educate our festival-goers about the important causes of our times and organise events that promote debate on societal issues that go beyond music. Plus, every year the festival strives to be even more accessible to all, making Rock en Seine a place for meeting, sharing and commitment.

The theme of the 18th edition of Rock en Seine is Rock Your Body! Celebrating all bodies, each and every one, no matter what its gender, age or morphology.

A fitting theme as on 1 September thousands of energised bodies will be moving, jumping, sweating and dancing to the sound of Killing in the Name or Guerrilla Radio...
