Joe Strummer Print The Myth Portraits 1981-2001 book

Print the Myth, Joe Strummer Portraits 1981-2001

To celebrate the life and art of Joe Strummer, New York photographer and creative director Josh Cheuse has opened his private archive, filled with hundreds of never-before-seen images of Joe at work and play, as well as sketches, handwritten notes and collages taken from studio sessions and late nights around the kitchen table, to create this special book.

From the now iconic silhouette of Joe at dawn in LA that graced the cover of his first solo album Earthquake Weather to unseen shots from a guerrilla session outside Buckingham Palace, the more than 200 images in Print the Myth make it a truly unique story of a creative friendship and a fitting tribute to one of the most important artists of our time.

Published with the blessing of The Clash and the Strummer family, Print the Myth will be available in three editions, two of which will include a unique photographic print.

Publication will be late 2022 — only at joestrummerbook.com.
