Jimmy Buffett returns to the London Palladium 16th September 2020.
Jimmy Buffett best known as the composer of such classic songs as "Margaritaville," "A Pirate Looks At Forty", “Come Monday” and "Cheeseburger In Paradise” is to return to the UK for the only the third time in 20 years.
Following on from his rapturously received show at The London Palladium in September of this year, Jimmy will return in 2020 to entertain the ‘Parrotheads’, as Jimmy’s loyal band of festive fans are known. They will get their chance to don a grass skirt, extravagant Hawaiian shirts and flamboyant headwear once more to party with Jimmy Buffett at The London Palladium on September 16th 2020.
The long-awaited Margaritaville musical, "Escape to Margaritaville," is now a touring production. Welcome to Margaritaville, where people come to get away from it all—and stay to find something they never expected. The musical played on Broadway and is now touring across the U.S.A. The original Broadway cast recording of the musical was recently released.
In 1974 “Come Monday,” a single from Living and Dying in 3/4 Time become Buffett’s first Top 30 hit but Jimmy was totally unaware of the success of the single. “I was in Europe working on a film production when I heard “Come Monday” being played in the London Airport. I figured something was happening, and called home to find out we were on the charts.”
With only three shows in the UK in over 20 years Jimmy Buffett at The Palladium on September 16th is a show absolutely not to be missed.
Legendary Promoter Harvey Goldsmith says: “Jimmy’s Palladium show was the highlight of my year and for 2020 I shall be buying a whole new wardrobe for this very special show”
