Those Damn Crows live at Islington Assembly Hall
The Islington Assembly Hall was busy and some say it would have been a busier affair had it been in a bigger venue. The whole area of town is buzzing with rock fans from pubs to food places, you can feel the vibe in North London this evening. Those Damn Crows are celebrating their success of reaching number three in the top 40 albums chart with Inhale/Exhale and are getting ready to play good old London Town.
Lead singer Shane Greenhall reached out to his followers earlier in the day with the unfortunate news of falling down ill with a chest infection but this didn’t keep him down as it turned out to be just fine as his vocal range beat all expectations and blew the roof off.
The atmosphere was electric opening with the cool sound of Fill the Void but nothing had the crowd roaring more than one of the guys latest hits Man on fire! They played new and old tracks in a full headliner set putting on a world class performance with lots of Les Pauls growl, spot on vocals, solid songs and electrifying stage craft. Great night all round.
Rock and Roll is definitely not dead, its in the charts again and its thanks to this band. Thanks for letting us celebrate with you guys.
Grab yourself a ticket next time they are in town or any town for that matter. Top notch rock n’ roll UK made.
