Slash, Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators live at the OVO Arena London

On a lovely spring evening we experienced the no-nonsense of a total rock legend. Slash and Co. came to London and delivered a magnificent set of good old time rock n’ roll with a modern sound tuned for 2024. With a simple yet very straight to the point stage show, we got to hear the very best of this band, because that’s what they are, Slash’s and Mr. Kennedy’s names might be prominent but we all know that this is a proper band and its name is The Conspirators. A barrage of hard rock tunes and riffs as the members delivered one after another quality performances. Slash’s guitar hero status got a highlight spot in the extended solo of Wicked Stone and Myles sang his heart out in every single track. That’s is with the exception of Dr. Alibi, Always on the Run (Lenny kravitz) and Don’t Damn Me (GnR) as the multi talented Todd Kerns vocals took centre stage and delivered a perfect feel for those songs. The sold out arena wanted more and we just got that with a lovely encore of Elton’s Rocket Man and the now classic Anastasia. Most excellent show!
